Brian Pskowski, President, Chief Operating Officer and Director, has led the day-to-day operations of IVS for the last 10 years and has been involved in the fertility business for 20 years. In his role, Brian has been directly involved in the growth of IVF practices including coordinated new IVF facility and office build-outs, negotiating hundreds of practice vendor contracts and financing arrangements, designing numerous physician compensation models and putting in place professional liability insurance programs for many physicians. He was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of Women’s Health USA, Inc., and a founding member of its management team. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Goran was named Chief Executive Officer of In Vitro Sciences' partner company, Whusa, in 2017. He joined with more than 30 years of management and leadership experience in a broad range of healthcare service environments. Most recently, Goran spent nearly 7 years at Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA), and then at Optum after SCA was acquired by Optum. Goran served in several capacities there, including management of a $500M portfolio of surgery centers and specialty hospitals in the western US, leading enterprise-wide strategic service line expansion and, after the Optum transaction, Goran served as Senior Vice President of Practice Growth and Transformation for Optum. In that role, Goran helped aggregate and organize specialty and surgical physician groups into market-leading, clinically-integrated networks.
Vicki Baldwin, Director, served as IVS CEO for most of the last 20 years. She has developed and grown IVF centers in the US for over 30 years. Before joining IVS, Vicki was founder, director and senior executive for 10 years at IntegraMed, formerly named IVF America. Ms. Baldwin served for 20 years on the Board of Directors of National RESOLVE, the non-profit consumer group offering education, advocacy, and support to individuals experiencing infertility, and for four of those years she served as the Chair of the Board.
Mike oversees all the financial functions at In Vitro Sciences and its partner company, Whusa, and also heads the financial consulting and management functions in support of IVF and OBGYN groups across the country. Prior to joining Whusa, Mike was CFO of Pharmedica and a controller of FamilyMeds. He holds a CPA and began his career in the Audit and Business Advisory Service Practice of Arthur Andersen.
Andrea serves in multiple roles for In Vitro Sciences - as General Counsel and also oversees the human resources, payor strategies and data analytics teams for the company. She began her career as a merger & acquisition lawyer for several prominent firms in New York, and previously served as General Counsel for Prodigy Health Group, Payflex Systems and Checkfree Pay Corporation.
Paul Verrastro, Senior Vice President, IVS, and Chief Executive Officer of one of our partner centers, Center for Advanced Reproductive services (CARS) an academic affiliate of UCONN School of Medicine. Paul is based at CARS and heads all of its non-medical operations. He has spoken nationally and regionally on the subject of Fertility Practice Management and is a past officer of The Association of Reproductive Managers (ARM) a professional group of The American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Paul has been a healthcare executive for 25 years, and nearly 20 of those years have been with IVS.
Leslie joined In Vitro Sciences and its partner company, Whusa, in 2014. Since that time, she has led the brand strategy, market research and planning of mass media, online advertising, social media content strategies and message development to support the company’s B-to-B and consumer business growth. Prior to joining, Leslie garnered more than 10 years of experience, across multiple industries, as Vice President for Strategic Planning and Client Services at one of New England’s largest advertising/marketing agencies.
Kristen joined IVS, and its partner company Whusa, in 2017 after 5 years with Harvard Pilgrim. While on the payor side, she was a Regional Contract Lead developing and negotiating arrangements with health systems, IPAs and physician providers of varying size and complexity. In addition to her negotiating skills, she has particular strength in strategic assessment and action, understanding and enforcing compliance, and provider relations. At Harvard Pilgrim, she was able to build a network from the ground up to 15,000 providers – a true testament to her ability to build and manage strong relationships and to oversee a team dedicated to the same. Prior to Harvard Pilgrim, Kristen held positons with Beacon Health Strategies and UnitedHealthcare.
Colleen Shea, Assistant Vice President, is a Certified Coder and has led the IVS billing and collection operation for nearly 20 years. Colleen customized the use of our billing platform enabling more effective IVF cycle billing, and lowering average time to collect payments from health plans. She has led several practice system conversions, providing leadership over system integration and workflow process improvement. Prior to joining IVS, Colleen worked for both large healthcare providers and independent physician practices. With over 25 years in health care Colleen is a subject matter expert in practice management.
