Derek M. Larkin, Chief Executive Officer, is a dynamic and driven executive, bringing with him over two decades of executive leadership experience across the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields. Before joining the IVS team in 2020, Derek served as Chief Executive Officer for Boston IVF, one of the largest in vitro fertilization practices in the country. He played a vital role in tripling the company’s revenue, launching a national chain of IVF centers, and leading one of the largest IVF mergers ever undertaken in the U.S. Prior to this, Derek spearheaded the launch of Boston MFM, the largest independent practice of maternal-fetal medicine specialists in New England. Derek is thrilled to be on board and for the opportunity to lead IVS on a new path of growth. He earned a BA from the University of Massachusetts, as well as a JD from Suffolk Law School and an MBA from Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the New England Fertility Society, and is on the board of Fertility Within Reach.
Brian Pskowski, President and Chief Operating Officer, has led the day-to-day operations of IVS for the last 10 years and has been involved in the fertility business for 20 years. In his role, Brian has been directly involved in the growth of IVF practices including coordinated new IVF facility and office build-outs, negotiating hundreds of practice vendor contracts and financing arrangements, designing numerous physician compensation models and putting in place professional liability insurance programs for many physicians. He was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of Women’s Health USA, Inc., and a founding member of its management team. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Beth Zoneraich, Market President, IVS, and Chief Executive Officer of one of our partner centers, Advanced Fertility Care (AFC), is an entrepreneur and co-founder of AFC. She and her husband Nate Zoneraich started the practice in 2005 and built it into one of the most successful in Arizona. In her current role, she oversees day-to-day non-clinical operations of AFC and spearheads the consolidation and growth of AFC in the Arizona market. Prior to starting AFC, Beth was a Director at Home Depot. She earned a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Paul Verrastro, Senior Vice President, IVS, and Chief Executive Officer of one of our partner centers, Center for Advanced Reproductive services (CARS) an academic affiliate of UCONN School of Medicine. Paul is based at CARS and heads all of its non-medical operations. He has spoken nationally and regionally on the subject of Fertility Practice Management and is a past officer of The Association of Reproductive Managers (ARM) a professional group of The American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Paul has been a healthcare executive for 25 years, and nearly 20 of those years have been with IVS.
Colleen Shea, Vice President, is a Certified Coder and has led the IVS billing and collection operation for nearly 20 years. Colleen customized the use of our billing platform enabling more effective IVF cycle billing, and lowering average time to collect payments from health plans. She has led several practice system conversions, providing leadership over system integration and workflow process improvement. Prior to joining IVS, Colleen worked for both large healthcare providers and independent physician practices. With over 25 years in health care Colleen is a subject matter expert in practice management.
David is a Managing Partner in Sverica’s Boston office, having joined the firm in October 2006. He also sits on the Board of Center Rock, Dexmet, Med First, Resonetics, and US Liner. David is a former Director of RestorixHealth which was sold to Leonard Green & Partners. Prior to joining Sverica, David served as a senior manager at The Parthenon Group, a strategy consulting firm, where he provided advisory services to private equity, mid-market and Fortune 1000 clients. Prior to joining Parthenon, David worked for Bain & Company as a consultant. Between Bain and Parthenon, he conducted a business turnaround as President of a manufacturing company in the custom wood products industry.
David graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Mechanical Engineering after which he served as a pilot and squadron maintenance division officer in the Navy. He transitioned from the Navy by attending the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College where he earned his MBA with distinction and was an Amos Tuck Scholar.
Gregg is a Partner in the Boston office of Sverica. He focuses on sourcing and evaluating new investments, transaction execution, and portfolio company operations.
